Software Upgrade Effort - Detroit

Lessons learned:

• Safety Logic – When upgrading the sl_parameters.xml file, make sure the rain configs are also setup accordingly
• Safety Logic – Since the Mini-X is pointed to an operational config and that file is transferred as part of the build upgrade, the tactical system defaults to an operational config when it should default to LIMITED.
• Adaptation – The adapt tool is a quick way to modify TP & MSDP cgw.operational.adapation
• DP install – Make sure DP comes with appropriate build from Sensis. When installing an additional DP, changes to the Safety Logic airport_cfg.xml are required for mapping to tower config
